Duration: 20 minutes

Your baby’s measurements will be assessed against standard growth expectations to provide reassurance that development is within a healthy range.

What’s included

  • Measure your baby’s growth using standard fetal measurements: Head Circumference (HC), Abdominal Circumference (AC), and Femur Length (FL)
  • Calculate your baby’s Estimated Fetal Weight (EFW)
  • Assess your baby’s position, for example head-down or breech
  • Check the position of the placenta
  • Evaluate amniotic fluid levels
  • Observe your baby’s movements and overall wellbeing
